AI Usage and Product Imagery Policy
Purpose and scope
Laylea Jewelry is committed to transparent commercial practices and to meeting applicable European Union requirements concerning consumer information and the disclosure of AI-generated or AI-modified content. This policy explains our approach to product imagery supplied by third parties.
Source of imagery and limitations of available information
Product images displayed on our store are supplied by our manufacturers and created outside our direct control. They may include conventional photography, digitally edited photography, and visuals generated or modified using artificial intelligence.
We have not independently verified the production methods or editing history of every supplied image. We cannot guarantee that accompanying metadata is complete, accurate, or identifies every instance of AI generation or modification. The absence of an AI indication in an image’s metadata should not be interpreted as confirmation that it is an unedited photograph.
Storefront notices and transparency
To communicate this uncertainty, we display notices and accompanying explanations alongside supplier imagery on our website. These notices describe our approach to the supplied image collection; they do not constitute an independently verified classification of every individual image.
This policy supplements our storefront notices and does not replace disclosures required by applicable law.
Accuracy of product presentation
Our objective is to present products accurately. Limitations in supplier information and AI-related notices do not excuse misleading representations of a product’s appearance, materials, dimensions, or other characteristics.
Enquiries and corrective action
Customers may report concerns or request clarification by contacting hello@laylea.com, including the relevant product link and a description of the concern.
We take a proactive approach to reviewing reports. Where an issue is identified, we will promptly take appropriate corrective action, which may include clarifying information or correcting, replacing, or removing the affected imagery.
Policy review
We will review this policy and our disclosure practices as applicable requirements and our supplier information develop.
